Eurex Clearing said on 23 September that the October 2026 Home Market Settlement end-to-end testing opportunity for ESES markets is cancelled. The test had been announced on 14 July. Eurex said further information on future testing opportunities will be communicated if applicable, but gave no replacement date.
FMI WORLD analysis: The cancellation removes a planned end-to-end validation point for front-office, back-office, technology and settlement workflows. It does not mean the underlying programme is cancelled, but it leaves participants without the announced October evidence window and makes the replacement timetable the immediate control issue.
Eurex Clearing members, ISA Direct members, disclosed direct clients, vendors, trading desks, middle and back offices, IT administrators, audit and security-coordination teams with ESES market settlement dependencies.
Action: Remove the October ESES Home Market Settlement test from runbooks and staffing plans, retain open defects and test scripts, and monitor Eurex for a replacement test date or revised readiness guidance.
Verification boundary: Eurex confirms the test cancellation. It does not identify the reason, set a replacement date or state that the related production programme is delayed.
